About

I fell into the mortgage business by accident 25 years ago — and never looked back. Since then, our team has been blessed to help thousands of families buy homes, from first‑time buyers to clients purchasing multi‑million‑dollar properties. People have trusted us with one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives, and we don’t take that lightly.

 

I grew up watching my father do our family budget on graph paper while raising three boys. That’s where I learned discipline, responsibility, and how money really works. I later attended the Air Force Academy, where accountability and high standards weren’t optional — they were the expectation. I finished my education at TCU with a Bachelor’s in Finance. Go Frogs!

 

Today, I’m deeply rooted in The Woodlands community. I’m a Community Champion. I teach monthly classes for real estate professionals, coach loan officers across the country, and speak at national conferences.

But at my core, I’m a dad raising three kids, doing my best to navigate work, life, and everything in between — just like the families we serve. Most of our clients are juggling the same things: careers, carpools, commitments, and the desire to make smart decisions for their families.

Most loan officers run your credit, take your application, and email you a pre‑approval letter — and that’s where it ends. Our consultation is a 45‑minute strategy session where we walk through the real numbers: what you can afford, what your monthly payment will look like, how much you’ll need out of pocket, and what your budget can comfortably handle. You’ll walk away with a clear financial strategy and a full understanding of the mortgage process, not just a letter.

How much does the consultation cost?

Nothing. It's part of how we do business. You can't make smart decisions without good information, so we start there.

What if I'm not ready to buy right now?

That's fine. A lot of people meet with us 6-12 months before they're ready to move. We can show you what you'll need to do between now and then to be in the best position when you are ready. There's no pressure to do anything on our timeline.

Do you only work with more first-time buyers or high-end buyers?

We work with both — and everyone in between. From first‑time buyers to move‑up families to clients buying $3 million homes, the process is different, but the approach is the same: education, clear numbers, and a solid game plan.
